The prevalence of Helicobacter pylori and its effect on prognosis of patients with COVID-19

Objective: SARS-CoV-2 RNA positivity in stool COVID-19 infection has been reported at rates varying between 6-83%. The purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence H.pylori and investigate whether it determines disease prognosis patients.
 Methods: This conducted on 117 confirmed patients who were hospitalized due symptomatic pneumonia tested for antigen. Stool H. pylori test outcomes, demographic parameters, laboratory findings, prognostic predictors recorded. effect presence with analyzed.
 Results: mean age included 49.68 ± 14.62 years, 78 (66.7%) had COVID PCR 32 (27.35%) positivity. There no statistical difference data, prognosis, parameters those without H.pylori.
 Conclusion: detected as 27.35% infection. However, we could not find positive or negative disease. In conclusion, according results study, negativity neither determined severity nor poor indicators
